Most of what I practice and share with others is related to internal health and emotional healing. Our emotions and thoughts create our health.
The surface of the body and the inside of the body can mirror each other.
The skin is like a second lung that breathes for the whole body, so it’s important to wear clothing that allows the skin to breathe. There are all types of skin conditions.
Some bodies are soft, with sensitive skin and others are hard, toughed skinned.
The seasons of the year and the seasons of our lives can be seen on the surface of our bodies. Are we wearing our emotions on the surface of the body, or pushing them down inside?
Growing up in women’s retail created an interest in clothing looking and feeling good. I live an active lifestyle and want to wear clothing that feels comfortable and allows for movement. Seasonal tips for the skin:

Fall winds bring a tingle to the skin and dry skin brushing helps open the pores so the skin can breathe; thus the skin is stimulated bringing oxygen, fresh blood to the surface of the body.

Summer sun purifies the body, drink extra liquids so the skin can sweat and detoxify the body naturally.

Late Summer the sun is intensified so bring balance to the skin with infrared red and sauna treatments.

Winter is the season of inner reflection and brings the fluid element of water, a great time to nourish the skin with a warm oil rub. Use an oil that is good for your dosha, body type.

Spring is the perfect time for a salt scrub or mud rub, depending on your skin type. Connecting with the elements of the earth and fresh energy.
